Effective Heterogeneous Fenton‐Like degradation of Malachite Green Dye Using the Core‐Shell Fe <sub>3</sub> O <sub>4</sub> @SiO <sub>2</sub> Nano‐Catalyst

In this study, the application of core-shell Fe3O4@SiO2 nano-catalysts for fenton-like degradation malachite green dye has been presented. The were prepared using a combination solvothermal and sol-gel techniques characterized XRD, FTIR, SEM/EDX, TEM VSM techniques. effects various reaction parameters on investigated. optimal condition pH, catalyst dosage H2O2 amount found to be at 6.7, 15 mg 50 μL, respectively. Under optimized conditions, efficiency 96.18 % was achieved within 30 minutes 303 K with pseudo first order rate constant 0.1102 min−1. plausible mechanism MG determined adsorption simultaneous decomposition via formation hydroxyl radicals. performance nano-catalyst compared other catalysts reported in literature. Finally, magnetic properties utilized its successful recovery multiple cycles.
